In the Victorian tradition, every flower has a meaning and, as she settles into her new life, Alice uses this language of native flowers to say the things that are too hard to speak. As she grows older, family secrecy, a devastating betrayal and a man who's not all he seems combine to make Alice realise there are some stories that flowers alone cannot tell. If she is to have the freedom she craves, she must find the courage to possess the most powerful story she knows: her own."

Mate
Mate was Jeremy's first opportunity to play a lead character on a professional film shoot. The film follows Jack (Jeremy's Character), reuniting with his father after not seeing him for years in Western Sydney, to find that his memory of him is not quite the same as what stands before him.
Jeremy spent countless hours preparing and exploring the character of Jack. He had many calls with director and co-writer George-Alex Nagle discussing the story and the character. Aside from his in depth script analysis, he explored activities and situations that related to his character, whilst in character such as night time swimming and other exercise, purchasing a tie for his father in the film 'John', played by Joshua Brennan, and various other things.
This was Jeremy's first time being on set since Lockdown with the production being filmed in Early July. The Production had been delayed with the initial time of filming set to be April of the same year. This disruption turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it allowed Jeremy to spend even more time to flesh out everything about his character. Mate received the highest prize of Grand Prix (Best International Film) at the French, Clermont-Ferrand international film festival in 2022, known across the globe as the most prestigious festival dedicated to short films. Mate was picked out as the best film of 6200 submitted from around the world. It has screened on both SBS On Demand and Arte.TV, and is currently in talks to find a new streaming home.
Celestial Bodies
Jeremy plays the lead character of Jessie in the upcoming short, Celestial Bodies, for which he also worked on the musical composition. This is his third time collaborating with director Mitch Firth (Home and Away) within 3 years. The logline reads: A boy, plagued with mysterious episodes of amnesia, goes on a journey of self discovery in order to find his true nature. Along the way, and with help from others, we realise that no one is as they seem. The film features a cast of 8, all students at the Young Actors Assembly in Sydney.

The film underwent an extensive pre-production period due to restrictions created by the global pandemic. Shooting was pushed from September to January, with all production meetings being done via zoom. Jeremy describes this factor as a "blessing in disguise", as it allowed him to spend more time developing the character and the music for the film.

Jeremy's process of developing the character of Jessie was extremely detailed and thorough. More than any time previously, Jeremy has been focusing deeply on his creation of highly specific and detailed characters, attempting to make them as truthful as possible. Jessie's unique experiences of amnesia like episodes and deeper connections to other elements in the film (no spoilers), allowed for Jeremy to really dig deep into Jessie's mind and discover as much as he could about the character. A significant portion of the film is set in Jessie's bedroom. A large amount of the posters and information that litter and decorate the room were created by Jeremy. He underwent heavy research and spent extended periods of time creating the posters and notebooks.

The film was shot during the January 2022 spike of Covid-19 cases in Sydney. The cast and crew worked tirelessly to make sure everything was as safe as possible at all times in order for the shoot to be completed. The film is available to view on YouTube now.
